[02:51] [raddmadd|winXP] there's a program btw called wubi, that installs ubuntu just like any other windows program. So it's like you have it dual booted, but you are able to uninstall it in windows and get that memory from the partition back.
[02:51] [ChrisMW|Linux] yeh
[02:51] [ChrisMW|Linux] i did that on my desktop

[03:00] [raddmadd|winXP] the restore brings back every setting, it's pretty cool. it even saved what I was searching in the app store lol.
[03:00] [ChrisMW|Linux] lol
[03:00] [ChrisMW|Linux] aha
[03:00] [ChrisMW|Linux] so whats it like on the other side of the ipod touch?
[03:01] [raddmadd|winXP] the jailbreak?
[03:01] [ChrisMW|Linux] yeh
[03:02] [raddmadd|winXP] it's alright. It's mostly cool for developers, has a lot of neat tools. It has a terminal that gives you full root access to your itouch. It really didn't have that much stuff that I thought was cool. I'd rather have the secure apple version. The package installer (cydia) was slow and a bit buggy.
[03:03] [raddmadd|winXP] But I use it all the time so I didn't want to mess with it too much. I'd rather save all the hacking for my PSP that i never use :P

[04:11] [digilante] 1 vs 5; hard; i was playing ukraine... raraku map...
[04:11] [digilante] got my base up, slapped down plenty of Adv. Power plants, and put up tesla coils at the 2 entry points to my base
[04:12] [raddmasta] what is RA?
[04:12] [digilante] red alert
[04:12] [digilante] releaed '96 by Westwood Studios/Virgin Entertainment
[04:12] [digilante] started spitting out mammoth tank after mammoth tank out of my 3 war factories... and putting those on Defend/Escort for my coils
[04:12] [digilante] first 5 mins of the match, i'd already clocked up 1200 enemy casaulties
[04:13] [digilante] at one point, I had 3 AI players tank rush/zerg me
[04:13] [digilante] they couldn't even get thru my coils letalone actually attack the bulk of my base
[04:13] [raddmasta] heh. Looks pretty cool.
[04:14] [digilante] released as freeware by EA (aquirer of Westwood) some time ago
[04:14] [digilante] you can download both discs as ISOs from the EA site :)
[04:16] [digilante] oh that burns
[04:17] [raddmasta] cool, downloading it right now :D
[04:17] [digilante] just logged into CGN (Classic-Gaming.net) for the first time in a while; see that i'm now allowed 100MB as opposed to the 50MB I was allocated when i signed up :(
[04:17] [digilante] to think, i was only interested in the 100MB limit because of Blood II which is a 96MB download (i was interested in the game for it's soundbites)
[04:18] [digilante] yet 2 months ago I had already downloaded Blood II (for the same reasons) from another site
[04:19] [digilante] http://www.classic-gaming.net/game/939/
[04:20] [digilante] it's a not too shabby game, raddmasta, but the AI leaves a lot to be desired
[04:20] [digilante] such as when you play a naval map (lots of water) as England/France/Germany, and you've got a cruiser off shore pounding away at their base... what does the AI do?
[04:21] [digilante] build more tanks to replace the ones your cruiser(s) decimated
[04:21] [digilante] they don't bother coming up with a sub pen/naval base of their own and counter attacking
[04:21] [digilante] they'd be more interested in giving you more cannon fodder
[04:23] [raddmasta] ah, yeah, lol.

[05:57] [Tarcas] define pollution. :-P
[05:59] [Tarcas] By volume, coal. By toxicity, nuclear (usually). Actually, the coal plant puts more radiation in the surrounding air than the nuke plant does. The problem is that lump of spent uranium you wind up with.
[05:59] [raddmasta] well I'm playing a game like sim city haha. So I wanted to know which one to build.
[05:59] [raddmasta] ah okay lol.
[06:01] [Tarcas] Oh, in SC, the coal plant produces polution, but the nuke plant has a chance of melting down.
[06:02] [Tarcas] The nuke plant also produces more power per dollar as I recall.
[06:02] [raddmasta] yeah as soon as I built a coal power plant I got brown outs.

[16:55] [peer] A large company, feeling it was time for a shake-up, hired a new CEO. The new boss was determined to rid the company of all slackers. On a tour of the facilities, the CEO noticed a guy leaning on a wall. The room was full of workers and he wanted to let them know that he meant business. He walked up to the guy leaning against the wall and asked, 'How much money do you make a week?' A little surprised, the young man looked at him and replied, 'I make $4
[16:55] [peer]
[16:55] [peer] The CEO then handed the guy $1,600 in cash and screamed, 'Here's four weeks' pay, now GET OUT and don't come back.'

[16:55] [peer] Feeling pretty good about himself, the CEO looked around the room and asked, 'Does anyone want to tell me what that goof-ball did here?'
